About this event

The Spring 2022 Meeting of the Partnership for a Healthier Fairfax is set for Thursday, May 12, 2022, 9:30 am – 11:30 am. The meeting will be hosted on Zoom.

The program begins with a PFHF business meeting Including the Community Health Improvement Plan Year 3 Annual Report. We will also present the 2022 Live Healthy Fairfax Award to:

  • Behavioral Health – Jenna White
  • Fairfax Food Council – Cory Suter
  • Healthy Environment and Active Living - Sally Smallwood

Immediately following the business meeting, join us for the the educational program:

Food Equity: Lifting the Community Voice

Community voice is a foundational part of striving towards equity – in our food system and throughout all parts of our community. Join this engaging session to:

• Reflect on the history of food inequities in Fairfax County.

• Learn about innovative partnerships that are incorporating the community voice.

• Discover actionable steps to ensure community voice is woven into creative solutions.

• Supervisor Rodney Lusk, member of the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors

• Adam LaRose, Director of Advocacy & Public Policy, Capital Area Food Bank
